In Connections Kids you will find kids enjoying a dynamic, fun-filled morning learning about our Lord and Savior intended to impact the hearts of your children now and into the future.
Our main goal in Connections Kids is to partner with you in developing your children's spiritual lives. Our curriculum will lead us through the Bible, focused on the foundational Bible stories so that children will understand not only the facts of the story, but also the Biblical principles that it communicates.
Another goal we have is for your children to understand the order in which Biblical events happened, help them understand how the stories connect and help them begin to understand the whole of God's redemptive story.
We offer a weekly take-home sheet to help your children dig further into the things they learned on Sunday. Kids can work on it individually or with their family. We hope this tool helps you be more intentional in the time you spend with your children making that connection between church and home.
Security/check-in-procedures
- First–Time Guests: At the Connections Kids registration station families will fill out a registration page, noting any special instructions. They will then check-in children at the Connections Kids entrance.
- All registered families can check-in their children at the Connections Kids entrance. Children will be given a name badge to wear with a unique security code and parents will receive a security receipt with matching unique codes which are needed to claim their children at the end of our time of worship. Please label all bottles, pacifiers, diapers and other possessions with your child's name.
- Connections Kids operates on a "well child" policy. Please do not bring your child if any of these symptoms are present: fever, cough, diarrhea, vomiting within 24 hours, impetigo or rashes, active chicken pox, conjunctivitis (pink eye), measles, nasal drainage that is not clear or being treated with antibiotics for less than 24 hours.
- All staff and volunteers are screened using application forms, reference checks and criminal background checks. All have been trained and made aware of our safety and security policies.
